Color-changing gin fizz in champagne coupe - electric blue transitioning to purple with natural pH magic.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz Gin
- ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz Simple syrup
- 1 tsp Butterfly pea flower tea (steeped and cooled)
- 2 oz Champagne or prosecco
Instructions
- 1. Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5 minutes, let cool completely
- 2. Add gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, butterfly pea tea, and ice to shaker
- 3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- 4. Strain into chilled champagne coupe
- 5. Top with champagne - watch color shift from electric blue to purple
- 6. Garnish with lemon twist and edible flowers
