Fire & Ice Dragon
Spicy, Fruity, Theatrical
Dramatic cocktail with real fire floating on top and large ice sphere visible through flames - elemental contrast.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Dark aged rum
- 1 oz Dragon fruit puree
- ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
- ½ oz Simple syrup
- 1 Fresh Thai chili, sliced
- ½ oz Overproof rum (151) for flaming
Instructions
- 1. Muddle Thai chili slices in shaker
- 2. Add dark rum, dragon fruit puree, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice
- 3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- 4. Strain into rocks glass over large ice sphere
- 5. Carefully float overproof rum on top
- 6. Ignite rum and serve flaming (CAUTION: monitor flame)
- 7. Garnish with dragon fruit slice
