Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Swirl

Ingredients

• 2 oz White rum
• 1 oz Fresh lime juice
• ½ oz Simple syrup
• 1 cup Fresh strawberries, hulled
• 1½ cups Ice cubes
• 1 drop Green food coloring (optional for lime layer)

Instructions

1. 1. Blend half the rum, half the lime juice, and all strawberries with 1 cup ice until smooth (pink layer)
2. 2. Pour into hurricane glass, filling halfway
3. 3. Rinse blender
4. 4. Blend remaining rum, remaining lime juice, simple syrup, and ½ cup ice until slushy (lime layer)
5. 5. Add green food coloring if desired
6. 6. Carefully pour lime layer on top of strawberry layer to create swirl
7. 7. Use straw to gently swirl layers for marbled effect
