Matcha Green Tea Cocktail

Vibrant jade green matcha cocktail in Japanese ceramic cup with traditional tea ceremony presentation.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Premium sake
  • 1 oz Coconut milk
  • ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz Simple syrup
  • 1 tsp Ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 1 oz Hot water (for matcha)

Instructions

  1. 1. Whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy
  2. 2. Let matcha cool to room temperature
  3. 3. Add sake, coconut milk, lime juice, simple syrup, cooled matcha, and ice to shaker
  4. 4. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds until bright green and frothy
  5. 5. Double strain into chilled Japanese ceramic cup or coupe glass
  6. 6. Garnish with matcha powder dusting and bamboo leaf
