Passion Fruit Mai Tai
Tropical, Complex, Balanced
Classic Mai Tai elevated with fresh passion fruit pulp, served in a carved tiki mug with flaming garnish.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Aged Jamaican rum
- ¾ oz Orange curaçao
- ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
- ½ oz Orgeat (almond syrup)
- ¼ oz Rich simple syrup (2:1)
- 2 tbsp Fresh passion fruit pulp
- 151 proof rum For flaming (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Add aged rum, curaçao, lime juice, orgeat, simple syrup, and passion fruit pulp to shaker with ice
- 2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
- 3. Strain into tiki mug filled with crushed ice
- 4. Top with more crushed ice mound
- 5. Float 151 proof rum and ignite for flaming presentation (carefully!)
- 6. Garnish with mint sprig, lime wheel, and orchid
