Passion Fruit Mai Tai

Tropical, Complex, Balanced

Classic Mai Tai elevated with fresh passion fruit pulp, served in a carved tiki mug with flaming garnish.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aged Jamaican rum
  • ¾ oz Orange curaçao
  • ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz Orgeat (almond syrup)
  • ¼ oz Rich simple syrup (2:1)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh passion fruit pulp
  • 151 proof rum For flaming (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Add aged rum, curaçao, lime juice, orgeat, simple syrup, and passion fruit pulp to shaker with ice
  2. 2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
  3. 3. Strain into tiki mug filled with crushed ice
  4. 4. Top with more crushed ice mound
  5. 5. Float 151 proof rum and ignite for flaming presentation (carefully!)
  6. 6. Garnish with mint sprig, lime wheel, and orchid
