Stunning layered purple-to-pink gradient cocktail with floral notes from violet liqueur and butterfly pea flower, creating an elegant botanical experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • ¾ oz Violet liqueur (Crème de Violette)
  • ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz Simple syrup
  • 1 tsp Butterfly pea flower tea (steeped and cooled)
  • Optional Fresh edible flower for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Steep 1 tsp butterfly pea flowers in ¼ cup hot water for 5 minutes, let cool completely
  2. 2. Add gin, violet liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, butterfly pea tea, and ice to shaker
  3. 3. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds
  4. 4. Place 1-2 large craft ice balls in rocks glass or stemless glass
  5. 5. Strain cocktail over ice balls, watching the beautiful purple-pink gradient form
  6. 6. Optional: Garnish with fresh edible flower or herb sprig
