Watermelon Red Sangria Bowl

Spanish red wine sangria served in a hollowed watermelon half with floating summer fruits - refreshingly beautiful.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (750ml) Fruity red wine (Tempranillo or Garnacha)
  • ¼ cup Brandy
  • ¼ cup Orange liqueur
  • ½ cup Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 Orange, sliced
  • ½ cup Fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup Fresh watermelon cubes
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Handful Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Hollow out half a watermelon to create a serving bowl
  2. 2. Combine wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar in the watermelon bowl
  3. 3. Add all sliced fruits and watermelon cubes
  4. 4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably 4-6 hours)
  5. 5. Add mint leaves just before serving
  6. 6. Serve in individual glasses with fruit from the bowl
